Hollist.org Wiki Tree
Hollist.org is a Genealogical based web-site designed to explore the roots of the Hollist name.
This Wiki is designed to help those with roots in the Hollist name to share information and stories about their ancestors.
Contributing
If you are interested in adding content:
1. Setup an account 2. Go threw the auto-confirmation procedures (You'll get an e-mail after setting up an account with instructions) 3. Request editor privileges from the web-master noting your connection to the Hollist name.
Usage Guidelines
A few basic rules of the road:
1. NEVER put ANY information about live or living persons on this web-site, unless it's yourself
(I would still discourage putting very much if any information about yourself on this Wiki due to
security and privacy concerns).
2. Only put factual verifiable information about deceased persons in this Wiki.
3. All informational on this site must in some way relate to the Hollist name.
4. Do not flame or defame any person alive or dead, even if it's yourself or your own ancestors
(if you can't say it nicely, or at least factually, then don't say it).
5. Try to follow established naming conventions and formats as best you can (check out a few pages
first to see how things are done before adding content - also check for duplicates before starting
a new page).
I.E. John_Hollise_1720 - note the "First_Last_YEAR" convention.

I've been acquainted with some Hollist's with African origins, but I have yet to get any ancestral information from any of them. Hopefully a few of them will join in here...
